We are situated in the middle
of a snowbelt. This means we get snow often, when other regions don't.
This ensures good skiing conditions all winter long.
The cross-country skiing has been excellent this winter.
The early and plentiful snowfall gave
us a good base and fresh new snow all winter. Touring and skate skiing
started in mid December. Our x-country ski centers
have been open 99% of the time.
